Singer Terms
Version 2.1 · Effective 11 September 2026. These Terms replace all earlier versions of the Voxalized singer terms. Vocals uploaded to the previous Voxalized platform ("legacy Vocals") remain governed by the agreement in force at the time of their upload — including its commission model — even after the Artist claims their profile on this platform. All Vocals uploaded to this platform are governed exclusively by these Terms.
1. Scope and acceptance
These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between Voxalized ("Voxalized", "we") and every singer ("Artist", "you") who offers vocal recordings and compositions ("Vocals") for sale on Voxalized. You accept these Terms when you join Voxalized as a singer and again each time you upload a Vocal. Section 6 (The marketplace) applies only to Vocals you list on the marketplace; you accept it separately with each upload that lists a Vocal.
2. Your store
Every Artist runs their own store on Voxalized under their public profile (voxalized.com/singer/yourhandle).
- You decide which Vocals you offer, whether a Vocal is non-exclusive (Entry and Professional licences) or exclusive, and you set your own prices within the technical limits of the platform.
- With each upload you choose whether the Vocal is listed on the marketplace (Section 6) or sold from your store page only (a "store-only Vocal"). Store-only Vocals are published without editorial review and appear nowhere on the marketplace.
- Non-exclusive Vocals may also be offered on other platforms. For exclusive Vocals, Section 5 applies.
- Price parity: if you offer a Vocal outside Voxalized as well, its price on Voxalized must not exceed its price on any other platform. You confirm this with every upload and whenever you change a price. Section 10 applies to breaches.
- You may remove a store-only Vocal from sale at any time with immediate effect (Section 7).
3. Commission and payouts
- Your share of every sale follows the commission ladder — it starts at 50 % and grows with your success. Non-exclusive Vocals climb by your cumulative non-exclusive sales on Voxalized (completed sales from the previous Voxalized platform count toward your ladder); exclusive Vocals step by sale price.

- The split is calculated per sold item in this order: sale price minus VAT and minus payment processing fees; your share is your ladder percentage of the remainder.
- Payouts are made per sale through Stripe Connect. Completed Stripe onboarding is required for payouts; earnings from sales made before your Stripe account is connected are held and transferred once it is.
- Where a sale is attributed to another user's referral link, the referral commission is paid out of Voxalized's share and never reduces yours.
- Promotions and discount codes funded by Voxalized never reduce your share: it is calculated on the undiscounted list price.
4. Rights, warranties and licences
- You warrant that you hold all rights in every Vocal you upload — including the sound recording, the composition and all consents of contributing parties — and that no Vocal infringes third-party rights. Cover versions must be labelled as covers.
- The licence for a purchased Vocal (the "Personalized Agreement") is concluded directly between you and the buyer; Voxalized acts as intermediary, operates the checkout and collects the proceeds on your behalf. For VAT purposes, sales are processed by Voxalized as deemed supplier; VAT is calculated, collected and remitted by Voxalized.
- Licences that buyers have acquired remain valid even after a Vocal is removed from the platform.
5. Exclusive vocals
- An exclusive Vocal is sold once, always as the full package. After the sale it stays listed with a Sold badge and an audible preview but can no longer be purchased.
- An exclusive Vocal that you also offer outside Voxalized must be marked as sold in your dashboard immediately when it sells elsewhere. Do not delete it — marking it as sold keeps your store accurate for buyers. A Vocal marked as sold externally creates no order, licence or payout on Voxalized.
- Selling an exclusive Vocal that has already been sold — on or off Voxalized — is a serious breach of these Terms. Section 10 applies.
6. The marketplace
The marketplace is Voxalized's shared storefront and marketing programme. You choose with each upload whether a Vocal is listed; Voxalized reviews every listing and decides on acceptance. For accepted marketplace Vocals:
- Voxalized markets the Vocal — placement on the homepage and in the browse selection, newsletter features, social media and paid advertising, with cover artwork made for it, at Voxalized's discretion.
- You keep setting your own prices; the price parity of Section 2 applies — a marketplace Vocal must never be cheaper anywhere else.
- Voxalized may run promotions and issue discount codes. Promotions funded by Voxalized do not reduce your share (Section 3).
- Term: the marketplace term for a Vocal is 12 months from acceptance. After that it continues indefinitely and either party may end it with one (1) month's notice. When the term ends, the Vocal continues as a store-only Vocal under Sections 2 and 3 — or is removed, if you have requested removal (Section 7).
7. Removing vocals
- Store-only Vocals: you may take any store-only Vocal off sale at any time, effective immediately. Removal delists the Vocal; licences already sold, buyer downloads and accounting records remain unaffected.
- Sold exclusives: these remain listed with their Sold badge.
- Marketplace Vocals: these cannot be removed during the running term. A removal request counts as notice of termination (Section 6): it stops any continuation of the term, and the removal is executed automatically when the term ends.
8. Taxes and self-billing
- Your earnings are documented in a monthly credit note issued by Voxalized under the self-billing procedure (§ 14 Abs. 2 UStG). By accepting these Terms you consent to self-billing.
- You are responsible for providing accurate tax information (including your VAT status) and for taxing your income in your country of residence.
9. Content review
Voxalized reviews every Vocal listed on the marketplace before publication and may reject or remove content that is technically deficient, mislabelled or that infringes rights or these Terms. Store-only Vocals are published without prior review; Voxalized may nevertheless remove any content that infringes rights or these Terms.
10. Breaches, refunds and set-off
- Price parity (Section 2): if a Vocal is offered at a lower price outside Voxalized, Voxalized may delist the Vocal and claim liquidated damages of 500 € per affected Vocal. You remain free to prove that no damage, or substantially lower damage, was incurred; Voxalized remains free to claim higher damage where it can prove it.
- Double-sold exclusives (Section 5): if an exclusive Vocal that has already been sold elsewhere was not marked as sold and is subsequently purchased on Voxalized, Voxalized will refund the buyer in full. The reversed sale creates no payout, and the refunded amount together with the payment costs incurred may be set off against your current balance and future payouts or invoiced directly.
- Deliberate or repeated double sales are a serious breach of these Terms and may lead to suspension of your store.
11. Disputes
If any dispute arises during or after the term of this Agreement between Artist and Voxalized, the parties shall hold negotiations amongst themselves before pursuing litigation.
12. Indemnification
Artist will indemnify, protect, defend and hold Voxalized harmless from and against any and all loss, cost, damage and expenses arising from, or in any way related to, any third-party claims against Artist. Voxalized will indemnify, protect, defend and hold Artist harmless from and against any and all loss, cost, damage and expenses arising from, or in any way related to, any third-party claims against Voxalized.
13. Changes to these Terms
Voxalized may amend these Terms with effect for the future. Artists will be notified of material changes by e-mail at least one month before they take effect. The marketplace conditions applicable to an already listed Vocal do not change during its running term without your consent.
14. Governing law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Germany.
15. Acknowledgment
By joining Voxalized as a singer and by uploading Vocals, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
